As professors, UBMDs conduct hands-on research and teach classes at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine, one of the top medical schools in the region. They’re often cited as medical experts, having contributed as a group to more than 1,000 textbooks, journals and studies in just the last year.
As physicians, UBMDs have private practices throughout Western New York, and also practice at affiliated institutions including Kaleida Health,
