Prior to joining the Department of Neurology in 2021, I was an academic and clinical neurologist at the University of Washington and Seattle Children's Hospital.
I am a board-certified adult and child neurologist, clinical neurophysiologist, and epileptologist. I provide evaluations for children and teens with any type of neurological concern; however, my primary clinical interests include comprehensive acute and chronic care for children and adults with epilepsy and seizures, electroencephalography and epilepsy surgery.
I am also one of the panel neurologists in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at Oishei Children's Hospital. This state-of-the-art unit was made possible by a $1,000,000 grant by the Cummings Foundation. OCH is recognized by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC) as a Level IV center.
My research interests include quality of life in children with epilepsy, outcomes of children with drug-resistant epilepsy, epilepsy surgery and brain tumor-related epilepsy. I have mentored and am interested in continued collaborative research with residents and fellows.
