Professional Summary:

I am a physician board certified in neurology with fellowship training in neurophysiology. My expertise lies in diagnosing and managing general adult neurology patients as well as electroencephalogram interpretation. This includes neck pain, back pain, numbness, tingling, headache, tremor, imbalance, falls, new onset seizures, alteration of awareness, post-concussion syndrome, bell’s palsy etc. I am apart of a department with subspecialists with expertise in all areas of neurology.

I have a global perspective towards patient care. Growing up locally, I graduated from medical school in India and returned home for residency and fellowship training at the University at Buffalo. My clinical practice is influenced by my experiences in recent years as a practicing physician in both India and Boston. I encourage the incorporation of certain complementary techniques such as meditation, massage therapy and acupuncture to be integrated into the healing process when necessary.

I am apart of the faculty in the Neurology department as well. My adopted teaching style is through the perspective of a coach and mentor along with building a strong foundation of good clinical and management skills. I focus on a practical approach towards making a neurological diagnosis and delivering quality patient care.
