Cardiology; Cardiopulmonary physiology; Cardiovascular Disease; Transplantation
As a noninvasive cardiologist with specialized training in advanced heart failure and cardiac transplant as well as advanced cardiovascular imaging, I care for patients admitted to the critical care and inpatient telemetry cardiac services at Buffalo General Medical Center and the Gates Vascular Institute. I also provide both inpatient and outpatient consultative service. In addition, I am clinical faculty on the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant as well as the Mechanical Circulatory Support inpatient services at the University of Rochester’s Strong Memorial Hospital.
My dual interests include expanding clinical and research utilization of cardiac MRI and CT at the hospital for a variety of cardiovascular diseases, as well as collaborating to bring more comprehensive advanced heart failure therapeutic options to the city of Buffalo.
As part of the UBMD faculty, I oversee the training of medical students, interns, residents and cardiology fellows who rotate through the clinical and noninvasive imaging services.
