Preparing for the new school year comes with many concerns as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.

UBMD invites you to join us on August 31 at 7 p.m. for a webinar addressing COVID-19's impact on the upcoming school year.

In this free webinar, UBMD physicians aim to provide Western New Yorkers with:

  • General safety information for children returning to school, including those with special care needs and disabilities
  • Best sleep practices for back to school and the affect sleep has on the immune system and vaccine efficacy
  • What pregnant moms need to know about their children going back to school
  • How to manage anxieties children and parents may have about going back to school with the Delta variant circulating

A Q&A will take place following the presentations with Kevin Gibbons, MD serving as the moderator.

The Panel:

  • Michael Adragna, MD, Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, UBMD Psychiatry
  • Sarah Berga, MD, President, UBMD Obstetrics & Gynecology, Department Chair, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences
