Dr. Bart is dual-board certified in Emergency Medicine and EMS with specialty training in several areas of operational Emergency services. After completing residency at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo and Dr. Bart received fellowship training in Emergency Medical Services through SUNY at Buffalo. Currently, Dr. Bart works as an attending physician in the Emergency Department at the Erie County Medical Center and work with local and state EMS organizations on protocol, policy and operational performance. Dr. Bart is and assistant clinical professor/faculty for the Emergency medicine residency and EMS fellowship through SUNY at Buffalo.

Dr. Bart was a main contributor to the creation/invention of Mobilize Medical Systems before its acquisition by ZOLL Medical in 2019. Dr. Bart remains a consultant now working with ZOLL on Mobilize and other projects for clinical and scientific affairs.

In addition, Dr. Bart is the Director of the EMS division for UBMD Emergency medicine and is operational for field deployment as the Chief Medical Officer for the Buffalo Fire Department. Dr. Bart is also the EMS medical director for Seneca EMS and several agencies in Elma, Marilla and East Aurora.
