UBMD Internal Medicine

Professional Summary:

I am a board-certified physician in internal medicine and a primary care doctor for adult patients at ECMC Internal Medicine Clinic. In my clinical practice, I diagnose and treat a comprehensive array of diseases, as well as focus on preventive care and screening. My clinical interests include women’s health and metabolic syndrome. I especially enjoy caring for patients with multiple, complex, chronic conditions. I appreciate the longitudinal nature of primacy care and strive to work in partnership with patients to help them meet their health and wellness goals.

I addition to my clinical practice, I am responsible for supervising, teaching, and mentoring medical students and internal medicine residents at ECMC Internal Medicine Center. Most of my work with students and residents is in the clinic where my overarching focus is to help them learn evidence-based medicine, patient-centered care, and to embrace the full scope of internal medicine primary care.
