Dr. Renoj Varughese is an attending physician in the emergency department at BGH, ECMC and the VA. He also serves as an assistant medical director of American Medical Response WNY.

Dr. Varughese is very involved in developing telemedicine solutions. He helped launch Kaleida's and ECMC’s Virtual ER. Dr. Varughese is also the Telemedicine Director of Buffalo MATTERS. He manages telemedicine projects that help initiate medication assisted treatment for opioid use disorder to those unable to get to such services.
