Dr. Sengupta became Program Director for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship in 2016 and has been proud to train compassionate and talented child psychiatrists who make a difference in the lives of emotionally struggling children and families in WNY and beyond. He supervises fellows at the Children‘s Psychiatry Clinic and at Oishei Children‘s Hospital and developed and coordinates the clinical neurodevelopment curriculum, the collaborative care rotation for senior Fellows, and the family relational assessment and intervention group supervision seminar (w/ Dr. Betsy Wood).

After graduating from Duke University, Dr. Sengupta completed the joint MD/MPH program at Tufts University. He did his adult and child psychiatry training at the Western Psychiatric Hospital at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
