UBMD Internal Medicine

Professional Summary:

A recent graduate of the Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency program at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, I am passionate about metabolic health and preventive care. I am currently pursuing a certification in Functional Medicine to further integrate root-cause approaches into patient care.

I provide comprehensive care for adults, children, and infants, with a particular focus on individuals with complex chronic diseases, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and underserved populations. My approach emphasizes lifestyle interventions, including nutrition and behavioral modifications, to optimize health outcomes.

As co-chief resident in my final year of residency, I led a quality improvement initiative to update our clinic EMR's pediatric well-visit templates to align with the latest AAP and CDC guidelines. My research interests include EMR efficiency, the role of artificial intelligence in medicine, provider well-being, and work-life balance. I am actively involved in medical education, providing both clinical and didactic teaching to residents, and clinical teaching to medical students, with a special interest in nutrition and lifestyle medicine.

In addition to my clinical and teaching responsibilities, I serve as the unofficial clinical liaison for all things EMR, leveraging technology to improve clinical efficiency. Moving forward, I hope to expand my role in medical education and quality improvement while deepening my expertise in functional medicine.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my growing family, learning how to make new and healthier recipes, and serving in the children's ministry at my local church.
