I am a board-certified physician of internal medicine. I care for adult patients who are admitted to the hospital. I am primarily based in Buffalo General Medical Center, and I take pride in caring for people who come in with a variety of problems. I enjoy the acuity and breadth of illnesses that hospital medicine covers. I enjoy communicating with patients and helping them navigate their care from the time of admission to the time when they are ready to be discharged home. One of my aims is to provide patient centered care that considers their own lived experiences and values. I was part of a team that won best poster for a quality improvement project that implemented a meal service workflow to hospitalized patients who observe Ramadan.

I chose to join UBMD because of my desire to work closely with residents. I trained at the University of Rochester and graduated with a distinction in point-of-care ultrasound. I enjoy the opportunities for learning at the bedside and I am interested in using point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) to enhance the bedside exam and clinical decision making.
