As Erie County Department of Health (ECDOH) Commissioner I direct public health operations in Erie County that serves nearly one million people. I lead ECDOH’s response to public health challenges, such immunization hesitancy, gun violence, fatal overdoses deaths, and lead poisoning. I am working on expanding access in Erie County to sexual health care and family planning, including medical abortions, with a health equity lens. I led Erie County’s comprehensive COVID-19 response.
