Professional Summary:

I am a board-certificated internal medicine physician and clinical associate professor of medicine. My clinical practice focuses on comprehensive adult primary care, with an emphasis on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and the delivery of evidence-based care to diverse patient populations. I am committed to a patient-centered approach that integrates individualized care plans, shared decision-making, and a strong emphasis on long-term health maintenance.

In my role as a clinical educator, I am actively involved in the training and mentorship of medical students. I am dedicated to fostering the development of the next generation of physicians through bedside teaching, case-based learning, and the integration of evidence-based medicine into daily clinical practice. My teaching philosophy emphasizes clinical reasoning, professionalism, and compassionate patient care, preparing trainees to meet the evolving challenges of modern healthcare.

My clinical interests include cardiometabolic health, hypertension, diabetes management, and preventive cardiovascular care. I am particularly interested in improving population health outcomes through early risk identification, preventive screening, and multidisciplinary collaboration. My work also reflects a commitment to addressing health care disparities and improving access to high-quality care in community-based settings.

Beyond my clinical and educational responsibilities, I value community engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration aimed at advancing public health and preventive medicine. I believe strongly in the integration of academic medicine with community practice to improve health care delivery and patient outcomes.

Outside of medicine, I maintain interests in athletics, music, and cultural engagement, reflecting my belief in a balanced approach to personal and professional wellbeing.
