Just by their presence, they expand our ability to care and connect with patients and enhance our ability to increase the health equity in our region.

Every day, we appreciate the role these physicians play in advancing healthcare, but especially on International Women’s Day, we applaud the contributions they make to our patients, community and to the growth of women in science. With almost 200 physician-researchers part of UBMD, we know these women will help to lead us and inspire future female physicians, researchers and scientists to pursue their dreams.
